Worth County, Georgia Kent writes

Dr. H. Gordon Davis, Jr., & Francis S. Davis  will be awarding  two (2) 
$2,000 (each) scholarships to a graduating Worth County High School
student who will be  attending
Darton College  and  ABAC next year.
The recipients
  are required to be majors in  NURSING ONLY.
For more information, the student should contact the Guidance 
Counselor at WCHS.

H. GORDON DAVIS, JR., & FRANCIS S. DAVIS FOUNDATION, INC. SCHOLARSHIPS

The H. GORDON DAVIS, JR., & FRANCIS S. DAVIS FOUNDATION , INC.,  has made
two (2) 
$2,000.00 scholarships  available to two (2) future graduates of Worth County



High School. The scholarsips will be presented at the 2010  Honors Day  Program or the
Honors
Night  Program (whichever occurs first).  To be considered for these scholarships,
the recipients
MUST HAVE ALREADY HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED  FOR ADMISSION TO
THE UNIVERSITY O
F GEORGIA FOR THE FALL SEMESTER, 2010, PRIOR TO MAKING
APPLICATION.

The scholarships will  only be awarded to graduates of Worth County High School  for the
2009-2010 year.
The applicant is required to compose a qualifying essay describing his 
or her motivation for applying for this scholarship, the need for
this support, and the desire
and interest
  associated with attending the University of Georgia.

The applicant must send a copy of the acceptance letter from the University of Georgia along
with the required application information
.  Application information  and forms may be obtained
from the Guidance Counselor
s office at Worth County High School, located on North Monroe
Street, Sylvester, Georg
ia,31791. 

THE REQUIRED INFORMATION MUST BE RETURNED IN
A PACKET ARRA
NGED IN AN ENVELOPE IN IDENTICAL ORDER AS LISTED ON THE
INFORMATION SHEET OBTAIN
